Terms of use
Last updated 8 October 2026
The short version. Who Is My MP? shows you what Parliament publishes. We didn't write that information and we can't guarantee it's complete or current. The app is independent and has nothing to do with the UK Parliament.
These terms apply to your use of Who Is My MP? ("the app"), published by SVPPLY&.CO LIMITED ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 11377371. By downloading or using the app, you accept these terms.
Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies to your use of the app. Where these terms and Apple's agreement conflict, Apple's agreement takes precedence.
01The app is independent
Who Is My MP? is not affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by, or produced by the UK Parliament, the House of Commons, any government department or any political party. We are not a source of official parliamentary information and nothing in the app should be treated as an official parliamentary publication.
02Where the information comes from
The app displays information published by the UK Parliament through its public data services, made available under the Open Parliament Licence v3.0. This includes information about members, their registered interests, speeches recorded in Hansard, written questions and division records. Postcodes are matched to constituencies using postcodes.io, an open service built on Office for National Statistics data.
Contains Parliamentary information licensed under the Open Parliament Licence v3.0.
03Accuracy
We take care to display Parliament's data faithfully, but we do not create it and we cannot guarantee that it is accurate, complete or up to date. Parliament's own services may be delayed, incomplete or temporarily unavailable, and records are sometimes corrected after publication.
Constituency boundaries and the membership of the House of Commons change. Where a figure or a record matters to you (for professional, legal, journalistic or academic purposes), please verify it against Parliament's own published sources before relying on it.
The app is provided for information only. It is not legal, financial or professional advice.
04Civic Pass subscription and purchases
The app offers Civic Pass, an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks paid features in Who Is My MP? and in our other apps included in Civic Pass, such as The Lords. The app is free to use without it.
- Length and price. Civic Pass Annual lasts one year. The price in your currency is shown in the app and on the App Store before you confirm.
- Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- Automatic renewal. Civic Pass renews automatically for another year at the same price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Price changes. If the price changes, Apple will tell you in advance and, where the law or Apple's rules require it, ask you to agree before you are charged the new price.
- Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel Civic Pass at any time in your device's Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Free trials and offers. If we offer a free trial or introductory price, the details are shown before you confirm. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you subscribe.
- Refunds. All payments are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Restoring. Use the Restore Purchase option in the app to restore Civic Pass on another device signed in with the same Apple ID.
We do not process payments and do not receive your payment details. Any other in-app purchases are also processed by Apple under Apple's terms. How we handle information about purchases is explained in our privacy policy.
05Using the app reasonably
You agree not to:
- Use the app to harass, threaten or intimidate any person, including any Member of Parliament or their staff
- Attempt to extract data from the app in bulk, or use automated means to access the services it depends on at a volume that affects other users
- Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded

06Intellectual property
The app's name, design, interface, written content and code belong to us. The parliamentary data displayed within it belongs to the UK Parliament and is used under the Open Parliament Licence v3.0.
07Availability
We may update, change or withdraw the app or any of its features at any time. Parts of the app depend on services operated by Parliament and by third parties, and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
08Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on information displayed in the app, from the app being unavailable, or from any decision you take on the basis of what the app shows you.
If you use the app for business purposes, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, or business interruption.

10Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
